Shows like dead end and the owl house openly use words like trans-gender, bisexual, and openly use words for queerness. But they don’t say the woirds for their neurodivergent characters. They don’t say “Autism” or “ADHD” or “Trauma” or “neurodivergent” or “disabled” or “dyslexic” or anything like that.
We’re moving forward saying queer words, so why can’t we move forward with nd and disability words? We can have ND/diabled characters, but we can’t say who they are in the show itself (only confirmed in interviews)?
